Halloween Character Crackers
So if we are all going to be stuck at home this Halloween, why not get the kids and get crafting! These fun Halloween character crackers would look amazing as styling for a Halloween dinner table or as decor for a spooky Halloween tree! See how they are made below....
To make the Frankenstein Creepy Cracker....
You will need:
Green A4 felt sheet
Black felt sheet
Black tissue paper
Glue (hot glue or craft glue)
Sweets to fill the tube
Lay the toilet tube on the green felt, glue the end of the felt onto the tube.
Roll the tube to one side and the felt will cover the tube all the way round. Secure the loose end with glue.
Trim down the felt to fit the tube perfectly.
Draw and cut a wavy (on one side) strip to create Frankenstein's hair. Glue onto the top of the tube.
To create the face, glue two googly eyes onto the centre of the green felt.
With a black pen, draw on a mouth and a few stitches.
Now cut two 15cm long and 40cm wide strips of black tissue paper.
Glue one end of the first piece of tissue paper, onto the inside top edge of one end of the tube.
Glue the tissue paper all the way round to make another tube.
Tie a bow with the black string around the tissue paper to seal the end in.
Fill the open side of the tube with a few sweets and then repeat the last two steps of gluing on the tissue paper to seal the sweets in.
Now display as part of a spooktacular and scrumptious Halloween feast!
