How to Make Trapped Toy Soaps

Why not try Hobbycraft's super soaps which have a hidden small toy and a sprinkling of biodegradable glitter inside for extra fun while washing! Making soap is incredibly easy and perfect to make with kids. The toy inside could be adapted for all different occasions, they make fabulous gifts, party favours and of course make bath time a whole lot more fun!

Step 1

Grease the soap moulds with Vaseline and add a small sprinkling of biodegradable glitter and place in the toys.

Step 2

Roughly 250g (a quarter of the tub) of the soap base will make enough soap for the three moulds. Chop up 250g into cubes and place in a microwaveable bowl.

Step 3

Place in the microwave and heat at 30 second intervals stirring as you go, once completely melted pour into the soap moulds and sprinkle over a small amount of glitter to finish. Leave for a couple of hours to set.

Step 4

Loosen the edges of the mould and then push out the soap.
