Upcycled Festive Pinata

Here is another upcycled Christmas DIY for you....

I had this unicorn piñata from a previous project, as you can see I hadn't used it and it was in one piece! Rather than it gathering dust or being thrown away, I have transformed it into a  fun festive piñata which is perfect for a upcoming Xmas party or festive event.

Here are the steps on how I transformed the piñata....

1. To begin I gave the whole piñata a spray with white spray paint.

2. I filled the main compartment with sweets and then added the hair, created from toy stuffing and a silver curtain.

3. The saddle was created from felt and a toy stuffing trim.

4. To finish, I added the Santa's hat and the naughty elf!

It's just a bit of festive fun and it is important to use up things I already had 🎄 You can buy these unicorn piñatas for about £11, so if you fancy getting creative and transforming one - then you could get the kids involved too! 🦄🎄
