Poppy Field

To mark Remembrance Sunday that has just past yesterday, we wanted to show our respect by featuring this gorgeous paint tone ‘Poppy Field’ by Johnstone’s Paint. To all those that fought and laid down their lives, we salute you! Thank you for everything you did, so we can live free and happy lives. God Bless to you all x

How to use this paint:

  • Create a dynamic setting by choosing Poppy Field for a feature wall in a bedroom. Pair this tone with soft creams, chrome accessories and warm woods.

  • Give a dull hallway some much needed character, by painting your wooden doors with Poppy Field. Paint each door and door frame with this tone, then add large rustic gold numbers for a playful and bold impact.

  • Upcycle a plain set of wooden drawers, by creating a chevron design with Poppy Field and a navy tone. Firstly, rub down the wooden drawers with sand paper to create a smooth finish. Next with painter’s tape, create the chevron design. Once happy, paint in the sections with alternating paint. Peel off the masking tape and leave to dry.
